So the other day my cousin comment on one of my belly pics with a sad face... She got pregnant around the same time I did but she found out before I did the point is I was jealous she got pregnant because I was trying and I couldn't and she wasn't even taken care of herself I hated myself for not being able to get prego then I found out I was.. So excited we both were prego but unfortunately she had a miscarriage and I feel bad now to put any piks on fb kus I don't wanna bring bad vibes and stuff..

Same exact thing happened to me and my SIL last January. She found she was pregnant the first week and I was green with envy. I had been trying for so long and she and my brother had just gotten together 3 months before she got pregnant. Then a week later I took a test for the hell of it and it came out positive! We went to an early clinic and got both pregnancies confirmed together. We were a week apart. We did our ultrasounds on the same day right before Valentines Day and it was awesome. We had soooooo many plans since we'd be pregnant at the same time. We talked every day and hung out a few times every week. Then... I miscarried. I'll be honest, it hurt like hell having to deal with losing my baby and watching hers grow. I wanted to hate her and just ignore her but I knew it wasn't her fault. Instead, I made myself spend time with her again. I made myself touch her belly and when they found out it was a girl, I cried because that same envy I tried to bury deep had poked it's ugly head out. It was hard, but when I felt my niece kick and move whenever we'd sit together, the pain went away. I even threw her baby shower and spent a ton of money on her. When the baby was born I was thrilled but felt a small pang of sadness. Your cousin will be okay, I promise. The pain of seeing your growing belly will eventually fade and she will be overcome with excitement.

@aldensmommy, I get it, I definitely do. I was the same way but I was a little more private in my pain. I didn't want anyone to see how much I was hurting. Things are going to change, it'll be hard for a while but if the both of you don't talk it out and let it allllll go, then things won't be able to move on. You'll always feel bad and she'll always feel jealous. But if you both talk about how you're feeling and try to be understanding of each other's perspective, then I'm sure you could come to mutual ground. For me and my SIL that didn't happen right away. It wasn't until my niece was a month old that I let it all out and she let it all out. We moved on and have a much stronger bond now :)

@aldensmommy, try getting her involved with your pregnancy. It may help her like it did me :)
