I've been offered to have a sweep at my next midwife app which is next Thursday. anyone who's had one before tell me what it's like? how painful or uncomfortable is it and will it actually  help get me started of? thanks!😊

I don't even know why I'm nervous for it after thinking I'm totally prepared in my mind for labour😂 suppose it won't hurt to have it done though will it if it might help! getting so uncomfortable now and her positioning wasn't filling me and the midwife with hope that labour will be any time soon so I think I'll give it ago! hope it works for you soon xx

Just after my second one today . Only works if your cervix is favouritable but its never 100%. Some swear by it tho. Its quite uncomfortable but the more relaxed you are the less uncomfortable it will feel
