So I was told that the most important time to breastfeed is the first 6 weeks and that it can be very painful. I was planning on about 6 months until my 21st birthday. Buy now I'm wondering if I'll go that long.. how long did you ladies breastfeed?

Still going strong at almost 7 months! It's rough the first few months but so worth it!

just over one year but its recommended by W.H.O. 2years. it can be painful but as you go it becomes easier and they have support groups that will help with anything the best they can. with my daughter i was alot younger and no one told me it would be hard so with her it lasted 6weeks.

Ohh @mommi321 @tonyajo92, I will go as long as I can for the baby's nutrition but I don't plan on breastfeeding once he or she has teeth.

Believe it or not, teeth really don't become an issue. My girl has 2 teeth and 2 more trying to come in and she's never bitten me.

babies can be born with a mouth full of teeth but you would have to worry about biting.. my son never did. but it really depends how long you can do it for.
