So I babysit two little boys. When I come to their house in the morning, sometimes their mom is there leaving for work other times it's their dad, depending on their schedules. Anyways, whenever I'm in passing with the dad he talks to me a lot. He knows I'm pregnant and ask me general questions about my pregnancy or the weather. But recently he has been getting really personal and telling me things about his wife and saying keep this between us. He's also asked me a lot of personal questions. I told my boyfriend and he thinks he is flirting with me. I don't know if he's flirting but it does make me uncomfortable. What should I do? Should I say something to him or to his wife? Or should I wait until he crosses a major line?

i wouldnt say anything just yet. see if he does anything too inappropriate as you said.. then go from there

Like this morning he told me that his wife smoked weed her entire pregnancy with one of her kids and asked me if I could guess which one. Like what lmao😂😂 I know she'd probably be furious if she found out. We aren't friends dude and that isn't my business. I just wish I could unhear some of the things he says. I would say something before it goes too far. if you're already uncomfortable, it's not ok. and I'd say it to his wife.

Yea be careful. He can be testing you or maybe venting. Some People also say random things just to start a convo. That comment about weed and his wife and child is tmi.

I would definitely say something, after all there is more babysitting gigs out there if this one happens to come to an end, but being in a love triangle or what seem to be one with a husband and wife is no place a pregnant woman should be, and if you put yourself in her shoes, you'd want the babysitter to report to you right? Cause a lot of creepy married men have those babysitter fantasies and blughh 😖 creeps me out. I used to babysit when I was young & thank gosh she was a single mom! I couldn't imagine going through that at a young age.
