my son started right after he turned 2 I did only underwear in the day at naps I used a diaper and night.. hes been day potty trained since October. his birthday is in August. its alot if training yourself to take em potty.. it was still warm where I live so we would go outside. I also live in the country.. and outside is the only place he.will pee standing.. so maybe just start with a potty chair and go from there

They also on amazon have a urinal that sticks to your bathroom wall and its suppose to be the best thing to get little boys to go potty. I'm gonna be getting my son one soon so I can start potty training him here soon.

my son is only one and a half, but he knows when he's using the bathroom but u can't get him to do it in his potty. a working progress I guess lol
