I've had really bad back pain. And can't take anything for it as it makes me sick @4xmummy xxx

could be the start of labour, when my mum was in labour with my younger brother all her pain was in her back x

Are you full term lovely? I had contractions in my back with my 3rd but didnt realise as id never experienced them in my back before so did school runs etc in pain xx

Both of my labours were back pain only. ..Didn't feel any contractions or anything. I took as much of the pain as I cud (thinking sure contractions wud come if I was in labour) but decided to go to hospital for pain relief. My first daughter was born within 3 hrs of me getting there. Exactly the same happened for my 2nd little girl. I was in hospital 50 mins before she made an appearance.....good luck if it is labour. Hope it goes as smoothly as mine did xxx

you need to be seen by somebody. I would go hospital. good luck xxx

I am full term yes, I've been having contractions on and off for the last week so my midwife believes, I thought they were Braxton hicks. I rang my maternity unit as I started being sick and chest pains. I now have to spend the rest of the evening being monitored, but hopefully something will come out of tonight. Been in hospital 3 times in 3 weeks @4xmummy @felicjuh @shelbylynnearthur @sleckenby
