I'm planning on having the bed next to mine. Only till I move and he can have his own room.

My baby will have his own room (hopefully) and I'm also a FTM and don't really know exactly, but this is an idea I saw on Facebook for co sleeping. I believe you just use a 4 way crib that can be converted to toddler bed, and this is the toddler bed setting... Then you put rolled up blankets or something under babies sheet, so they can't possibly roll out. I love this idea and would try it myself if it were possible for me .

When my son was born I had a bassinet for him which was next to my side of the bed...I liked it cause we were able to chec up on him...id constantly wake up just to make sure he was breathing I'd get so worried...then when he was 3 months we put him in his crib which was in our room too but further away from the bed

I think thats a great idea because i wanted to use the pack n play first because it comes with the newborn sleeper than when she got big enough i was going to switch her to her crib so i think im going to go with that thanks @jazzyjazz

Our daughters bed is across the room but we have one of those rock and play sleepers that will be right next to our bed and it comes up to the perfect level... My other two never slept in their rooms/cribs so I'm hoping with this angel being in here she will actually use her crib.. But you can see the corner of our bed isn't too far from her regardless.. So it's whatever you feel comfortable with
