This may sound like a dumb question but it's my first baby and I'm curious on how your doctor knows the baby is growing as it should and how big it is? Do they usually do another ultrasound in the third trimester or what exactly? Thanks in advance! :)

I just had a appointment 2 weeks ago and my tummy was measuring over so my dr wanted to do a ultrasound to make sure she wasn't growing to big or anything. But other than that they don't usually do ultrasounds in the 3rd trimester

Usually they measure your tummy to see where your at if your measuring small or measuring big they will have you do more test

they would tell you straight up if something was wrong and do an ultrasound
