My husband works oilfield. He had to let go of over half of his crews in the last month. It's so slow. Positive vibes your way!! It's a tough field. They're projecting it will pick back up in late spring though! Thank god. Lol

I hear ya @icie88 thank you! hubby gets all depressed and I swear he acts out in dumb ways because his manly ego goes down since I have picked up more hours at work. gotta do what ya gotta do but in return I'm also super stressed because I do all the finances. adulting sucksss

it is so rough! @brooklyn0516 we go from making a good income to welfare status real fast. I make slightly over minimum wage. we will lose our insurance right before the baby is due to come. I hope the predictions are right but he may need to find another job in the mean time.

Look for all resources, remember he can get unemployment insurance. You won't be completely broke or helpless. Get WIC and good stamps for the extra help. Tell him you have options and to utilize them. I hope this helps you a lot, there's no need to fight. Peace onto you ☮☮🙏🏾

we stupidly live right along with the good income and boy oh boy does the savings get wiped out super fast. Unemployment is terrible. It's like boom your unemployed and your wife doesn't make enough (and she's gona have a baby) so you have to sell everything you own and fast. I understand being laid off for a couple months..but they are predicting another 4 months and he's been laid off since November.
