VENT SESSION: hey ladies, so I was in the hospital this evening with contractions and a lot of pressure that dilated my cervix to 1-2 centimeters (she could stretch it to 2). anyway, this is the 3rd week in a row that I've been in the hospital with contractions and they've had to stop them. one nurse had the monitor where they were picking up contractions, after a shot of tribudaline, the baby moved and they adjusted the heart monitor and the contraction monitor wasn't picking up anything bc she moved to far up. well low and behold despite my telling them that I was having contractions and pressure still, their conclusion was the "cramping" I said I was having (their words not mine), was due to the slight "uti" I had, which didn't exist an hour before. I'm so frustrated with this hospital! I've dealt with contractions my whole pregnancy, I know what they feel like! I don't need a nurse talking to me like I'm stupid! sad thing is, the next closest hospital is like 35 minutes away. :-( ugh
