lysine will make it go away! & it can be from something you ate, I used to get them while I was pregnant from eating too much acidic stuff!

I get those a lot, they can be quite annoying. Use tons of mouthwash and try not to mess with it. Avoid drinking highly acidic juices. It should clear up in a couple days.

Most definitely. Lay off anything citrus for a few days till it clears up. I have gone as far as to "remove" them. I don't recommend it. They bleed like crazy and last way longer.

put salt directly on it. it tastes nasty, but it really helps with the pain after a few minutes. you can also gargle salt water to help clear it up. i get them all the time.
