its okay to eat tuna in moderation.. gotta just stay away from seafood high in mercury..I forgot which ones those were.. gotta Google it

The concern with tuna is the intake of mercury. Yes, most will agree that it is safe to eat in FDA recommended doses. However, to me, there is no SAFE dose of poison when you are pregnant. Just food for thought, lol.

@kaliyahsmommy, all fish in the ocean contain mercury in molecular levels imbedded within their cell tissues. The problem is that the bigger fish (sharks, swordfish, mackerel) contain more mercury than small fish. Tuna is a moderate sized fish, so it contains less mercury than a shark, but more than say, shellfish. :)

I'm aware that it contains mercury I said the fish HIGH in mercury lol. my doctor told me it was fine to eat and my child is healthy as can be so I'll continue to eat my tuna on my poor days..thanks though 😊 @mamalamadingdong

I didn't see you say "high!" And I know I tagged you, but I was just generally speaking. And I'm not condemning tuna, so eat away! It doesn't matter what anyone does or doesn't do, all that matters is what you are comfortable with. @kaliyahsmommy
