Dr just prescribed me Zoloft for ppd. Has anyone taken it before?did it help?

yup, I took it years before I ever even got pregnant with my first. I like it, but I also take other along with it so.

I've been on Zoloft since I was 16 it takes two weeks to take effect but it has been working for me just fine! Some days I feel down but it's once in a blue moon

@their.bomb.ass.mom, @monsterbuttsmomma any side effects? Do you feel it kick in when you take it?

@mommyslittleman, pharmacist just told me it makes u drowsy and to take it with food.

I definitely noticed a difference when I didn't take it. And honestly the only side affect I had was a lower sex drive. But it's off and on and could literally just be me feeling like that. I told my doctor about it and he said he never heard of anyone mentioning that. So. @mommyslittleman

I didn't have any side effects, it makes you sleep so make sure to take it at night

I was put on it at my 6 week check up and I for sure could tell a difference in how I felt after it finally kicked in, I liked it. but I didn't like the side effects when I started to no longer take them.

I'm breastfeeding and i took my first dose when I got home. To see how I'd feel, a little drowsy but nothing I can't handle .. But I'm worried about the baby and what he's getting from it. He's barely ate in the last 3 hours , just sleeping which is not normal especially this time of the day. Doctors weren't worried about it though.

when I stopped taking them I got headaches and mega mood swings and all around didn't feel well, but it lasted like a week. @myliltadpole1116
