Do any of your babies seem to have nightmares? My son is almost 4 months and since he was about 2…

my son does sometimes. he will start whimpering like he does after he calms down from shots, and if I don't hurry and wake him up he will wake up screaming

Mine just sad cries and it's so sad. But today he was actually crying in his sleep and I picked him up to calm him @chhaya

I don't know any ways to stop or ease it other than waking them up if you notice it. /: I hate it too

Yeah that's what I do. I just don't like seeing him cry like that @chhaya

Babies can have nightmares as early as 2 days old. It makes me so sad when my little lady cries out in her sleep.

when my baby cried I don't wake her up, but I do pick her up and talk to her while trying to make my voice as soothing as possible..then she hears my voice she begging to calm down and eventually smile...I'll let her sleep with me for that night so she dosent have anymore nightmares

@izzysmommy1003, who knows I assume since being out of the womb there sensory system is over whelmed they probably have nightmares about their first bath, all the nurses that hold them, how cold it is. Simple stuff to us over whelms babies

I don't know everything is new to baby's for example if they hear a dog bark they get scared and might end up dreaming about that scary noise later. @izzysmommy1003 I hope this helps
