Just made an appointment a week from today to get this arm implant out: never again! Horrible birth…

what's wrong with it? I was planning on getting it after baby was born

Its been horrible experience for me, I was 6 weeks pp. I had no sign of a period coming. Got this thing and a week later started bleeding and im still bleeding. Im 12 weeks pp now. Its cause me to act like a crazy b* with mood swings. Also no sex drive and painful sex. I just dont feel normal, like it shouldnt be in there. @mybabyboytimmy020516

That sucks that you don't like it :( I actually have it and LOVE it. @alayna22 @quansmom2016 @mybabyboytimmy020516 it's different for everyone though girls, there's a lot of girls on here that have it and love it. Maybe post on here and ask for experiences with it cuz it could work great for y'all!

I already know I would hate the mirena😂 Not even going to try it lol. Might use pills again in the future. @kaelyndakota

Lol. I think I just have trouble with hormones. So I'm just going to avoid birth control. I'm sick of feeling crazy and having migraines with every type of birth control. @alayna22

they have two kinds of the implant. I have nexplanon and its amazing. no period yet and ive had it for three weeks. no side effects. before I got pregnant I had implanon and it was absolutely horrible. irregular periods, hair loss, mood swings. I guess it depends on which one you get. I'm sorry you had a bad experience though :/

I thought they discontinued implanon because women kept getting pregnant on it lol @jessicatollette14
