First time momma to be here but has anyone ever sat down and got a sharp pain through their abdomen? I have a few times today no matter how gently I sit down. Could it just be soreness from all the changes? Could it be something more serious? There hasn't been any spotting or blood some intense cramps but no blood. When I sit its a real sharp pain.

ligaments staring to grow. they hurt like a bitch at times but eventually you'll get used to them.

@rainbowbaby2015, I figured it could be I'm 12 weeks and I've had bad cramps the entire time I just thought it was odd sitting down and how sharp and painful it was.

I had cramps a lot at the beginning to. Its very scary since I had one miscarriage already and this is my first born baby. I was in the hospital all the time at the beginning trimester cause every little thing scared me. Just try to relax, lay back a little kick your feet up and make sure you stay hydrated. (That was one of my biggest things at first I never knew how tyky important it was to constantly drink water) If the pain gets unbearable go to the er just to be safe

I get the same feelings it's round ligament pain. It gets worse. Some days I'll have it all day or two then I'll go weeks and be fine.
