Finally reached 31 weeks! Now time for weekly ultrasounds to check our baby boys weight ....fingers crossed our little…

if the baby is big,has the doctor told you what they are going to do? I also have gd and feel like I have a 7-8 lbs baby maybe bigger in me and I'm only 33+4 and go Monday to see what they want to do. I'd like to know if they are going to induce or c section

if he is too big they will do a c-section...but that is why they are going to check his weight every time. I go so they know if they need to go ahead and schedule a c-section

Yea I know they do that or induce but I'm just curious to how soon they'd do it?! I'm really big and feel like if they make me wait til 39weeks he's going to be like 10+lbs 😬 @theinkedbarbie

I think it depends on your doctor @randirenee they didn't do an ultrasound yesterday when I went but two weeks ago he was measuring a week ahead and was 3.3 lbs

oh well I know for a fact he's well above what he's supposed too lol I just got moved to high risk so I'll start getting weekly ultrasounds Monday. I just feel like he would be better off out then in because my thyroids,gd and blood pressure are not great at all and he would get much needed help,if he even needs any , on the outs. I have my first daughter five weeks early and she was 7.1 and was perfectly fine @cnewell23

right @randirenee ...my first was full term 7.3 but I didn't have gd with him....might want to ask your doctor if baby does get bigger can they take him at 35 weeks since you will technically be in the safe zone as they like to call it but they may go ahead and induce if he not to big or schedule you for a c-section if he is. I know they took my friends at 34 weeks but he was already over 9lbs

gawdddd nine lbs at 34 weeks 😨 yes Ima see how much he measures Monday. I understand a lot of people just want their baby out. but you know people who have had more then one kid and feel like this isn't right and beg and plead with their doctor please for the best interest of the baby take him. like I understand the risk but if he is a biggen like 8+ lbs Monday,I'd hope the doctor feels at like 35-37 they can induce or my worst fear c section. guess we shall see. I know every doctor is different 😵 @cnewell23

I have gd and today I went in and my son has some extra fluid because I have been sick and my sugar has been high.. it's very hard when all he makes me crave is sweets.

@babyanakin, yes it is... lucky my little one hasn't been on a sweet kick. I extremely sick prior to my gd finding but it's gotten better now that I have it somewhat under control but I still have days where its hard to control...my ameotic fluid was high at me last appointments dr said he's not quit worried about it right now...stupid me I had to google it bad idea!!
