how long did it take to become pregnant i was on the birth control shot for four years a few months back i got off of it .. me and my boyfriend are trying but always a lovely period every month. i though i was pregnant back when i was on my shot but it was just me ovulating when i got off the shot completely i felt all the changes in my body due to ovulation. so every time i ovulate i think I'm pregnant i know it sounds lame. but i was on birth control for 4years after i had my first son. i wasn't on birth control back when i had my son. some people say it will take years to get pregnant .. i guess I'm looking for hope.. has anyone been on the shot and has gotten pregnant.

was it the depo shot? because that one really messes with your fertility and alot of people have trouble getting pregnant after taking it

yes it was.. :( i was younger the doctors told me i could have children ... so i went with it i guess everyone one lies

The depo shot is terrible! I was only on it for 3 months and it took us 6 months after the shot expired to conceive again. It just takes time to get your cycles back on track from that wacky shot.

oh my goodness.. .. not sure how to tell my boyfriend we both want children. my first son passed away at birth. so i would like to be a mother once again. as he would love to be a father. he is turning 29 this year i feel like time is ticking away and it scares me.

the doctor didn't tell me any of this at the start or when i myself told them no i don't want it anymore.
