Well a week from today my husband will be leaving for 9 months for his basic training and a.i.t training for the army. I'm sad but happy at the same time, sad that he'll be gone for so long missing our sons first birthday, our 1 year of being married, our 3 year of being together anniversary; but I'm also happy because I know that he's doing it for his family and wants to give his son a wayyyyy better life than he ever had. It's going to be a long 9 months for me.

I'm here if u need to talk my hubby was gone for 7months for basic and AIT. we were only married for 12days when he got sent to basic training even tho he wasn't supposed to leave for 6m. it was tough but luckily we didn't have our 1st daughter until a little over a year later. I got pregnant the day he came home from AIT graduation :)

my fience has been in the navy for over a hear now and iv only been able to spend a total of 2 weeks with him with in the whole year. he missed the birth of our son. he was a week over due.
