Ok, so I am still completely livid (probably big thanks to hormones, but whatever). My son was dropped off last night and the second I saw him, I saw pink eye. I asked him if he went to the doctors, he said no. My fiance and his sister both tried reassuring me it wasn't pink eye and I was hoping he'd wake up without complaint. He didnt. he couldn't even open his eyes and was running a fever. So I texted his dad asking if his doctor was ever called and started getting ready to a trip to urgent care. AN HOUR LATER he goes "oh I meant to talk to you about that is it worse?" I told him he couldn't open his eyes and we were at urgent care. I paid out of pocket since his dad refused to give me an extra card, and just didn't feel like fighting over it. My son was seen, prescribed eye drops, and we were on our way. Apparently, my son's dad asked where we were because he wanted to make the 40 minute drive to force me into an interaction. I had already left and he was livid snapping on me because I paid out of pocket (????) and didn't write out his full legal name. I got 4 hours of sleep, I was trying to calm my son because he couldn't see, I'm 30 weeks pregnant and sick myself, I didn't bother filling out half the form and feel like if I'm paying and it's not to defraud insurance, not to defraud some systek, just literally because I had no patience to write his 3 name long name, I could've written Elmo. He has physical custody because he wanted the tax return and I was not fighting over 1 extra night. We both have 50-50 legal custody. In the custody order, I arrange medical care through him, unless it is an emergency....which I think pink eye (which the doctor deemed a severe case of) is an emergency that shouldnt have to wait for him to "get around" to making an appointment. We pay him 700 a month literally just to shut him the fuck up and keep him out of our hair. He lives in his parents basement and the only bill he has is a car payment. He was literally pissed because I left before he could cut me off and demand we have interaction. I texted him where we were, the diagnoses, treatment and even let him know I got him a note saying it was OK for my son to go to daycare when he goes back to his dad. What the fuck else was I supposed to do? He is so desperate for me alone without my fiance he drives 40 minutes away and gets mad because I left.... he didn't even tell me he was coming.
