I wanted to show you all the Baby Trend Infant seat (Flex-Loc) not fitting infants. I've brought this subject up a few times and a few women don't believe me but this little girl is 6 weeks and she still doesn't fit. At birth, she was 7lbs and 19.25". At last check she was 7lbs 4oz and 19.50" (17 November). I'm sure she has grown since, but the harness is still above her shoulders in the lowest position.
baby trend infant carseats do NOT fit most average newborns, since the lowest harness height is to high for a rearfacing seat, so unless you are sure you will be having a 22 inch long newborn this is not considered a safe seat for your newborn.

Мама сына (3 года), беременна (40 нед.)
@brinleysmommy, what carseat do you have? the head insert is not actually required, and buying an aftermarket insert from Walmart isn't safe either. just take 2 receiving blankets and roll them up on either side of the babies head to help hold it in place.

I'll take a picture of it

@brinleysmommy, find the sticker that says what model carseat that is, then Google the manual and find out if the head.insert is required for your seat. if it is call the carseat manufacturer (which is evenflo) and ask them to send you another. but if it's not required then just use a couple of rolled up receiving blankets and you'll be fine :)

@brinleysmommy, make sure you lower the harness straps on your seat before she comes :)
