Being induced Thursday, nervous about the whole process. What exactly happens when you go in?

It's different for everyone depending on if your dilated. Usually they hook up IV fluids and run the pitocin through that IV. If you aren't dilated they will probably give you cervidil first.

pretty much what @foreveryoung247 said. with My last i went in the night before and they checked my cervix and put a jelly on it to help dialate. went back in 8am got hooked up to iv after a few hours my water hadnt broke on its own so they broke it. and than it was just the waiting game. unfortunately i was in labor for 22 hours but was totally worth it. good luck mama. you'll do great!!

@caitlynnrosee, same thing with me last pregnancy they hooked me up to IV and ran pitocin and waited so they under up breaking my water bag ..was in labor 17 hours but pushed him out within 10 min lol ..
