Have any of you dealt with this issue: my LO cannot sleep on her back. During the day, when she's on her back, she'll babble but then start making choking noises and stutter with her breathing after a few minutes. At night when she's on her back she makes gasping noises and coughs a lot. She sleeps soundly on her stomach but the ladies at the clinic are adamant she needs to sleep on her back because "back is best". Any other moms out there have this issue with their LO? If so, how'd you cope with it and control it?

My son prefers stomach. He naps on his belly during the day if I'm in the room with him. But he's the same way as far as choking and breathing weird. I prop him up with a pillow or his Boppy so he's not laying flat! (: hope that helps!

My son has never liked sleeping on his back and has to have a pillow I put him on his side and I've always used a pillow in his bed cause we used to co sleep maybe try propping her up and maybe put her on her side
