So I was supposed to get my wisdom teeth removed, but canceled because I was pregnant. now I have a lump on my gums where my wisdom tooth is, and they have been in alot of pain? is there something I should do? could it be infected?

@saramarie09, I don't think it's an abscess, it's really hard. I think it's the actual tooth about to pop out of the gums. very painful :'(

Possibly a abscess?..  I have to get a root canal on a front tooth but held off until after my pregnancy.. I ended up getting a abscess and omg it hurt out of this world..  The doctor gave me  enough pain medication to last me 2 days and amoxocillian for the abscess (infection)  after the two days of pain killers and taking the antibiotic 3 times a day the pain was gone!!

Aww. My wisdom teeth are barely starting to come in. I'm dreading the day I'll have to remove them 😖😖
