So call me slow but what is a midwife exactly?Is she free? and how do I obtain getting one?

basically a doctor that just doesn't have as many certifications to do as many medical procedures they rely on holistic medicine and natural ways than medicine the ob would give you not normally free but could be covered by insurance depending on what insurance you have

A certified nursing midwife is certified to see you your entire pregnancy and deliver your baby. Not free. But I'm seeing midwives at my hospital and they are covered by my insurance. They seem to take more time with you than an ob and are a lot more personal at least in the experience I've had.

my friend had one for her baby and she said it was better than a ob if I didn't only have 10 weeks left I would look for one to finish my pregnancy with cause I have a lot of questions that I never get to talk to my ob about ;-; so maybe next pregnancy I will just have a midwife

I loved my midwife :) add he was absolutely amazing, she was there anytime I needed to come in, or need someone to confide in. Most insurances cover midwives :)
