So there's 1 thing I really don't know squat about when it comes to pregnancy and that's gestational diabetes. You would think with being high risk for it I would've done some research.. but I haven't. What were your symptoms before your official diagnosis? What's your diet like now that you know you have it? I'm hypoglycemic and I've always struggled with low blood sugar which means I could easily become diabetic.

before I was diagnosed I had no idea but after I found out everything made sense. I had excessive weight gain 8+lbs a month excessive thirst and a full nasty gut feeling after I ate. I cheat from time to time because I don't have it so bad but when I cheat I feel like crap my gut feels heavy and crampy and I can easily gain 2lbs in 1 day so I feel really inflated. it's awful and confusing and hard. lol I have only 4 weeks left I am looking forward to being back to my normal self

@jashmen, well that makes me feel a little better because I haven't gained any weight at all, in fact I lost a lot of weight and have yet to gain any back I'm just maintaining and I haven't had any food problems. I do get thirsty and light headed if I eat to much sugar but I've always had that problem. That sucks though - luckily gestational goes away the second the Baby is born. I'll just cross my fingers that I don't have it.

I have it.. Just found out and I don't feel anything. I've been eating lots of sweets and carbs and haven't felt bad at all. Meeting with a nutritionist tomorrow to go on my new diet. This sucks ;(
