I got my depo shot 6 days ago. today I'm 5 weeks postpartum. I bought condoms last night just in case, but do you think the shot is fully in effect yet? one nurse told me 3 weeks, another said 24 hours to be safe.

its still possible to get pregnant. i had a friend with the depo. and she still got pregnant with it.

I would wait 3 weeks just in case because everybody takes to it differently

When I got my depo the Dr told me to give it 3 days and then I'd be protected
