ladies I don't know what to do! my fiance and I were trying to save money to move out of our parents houses... we are engaged and I'm pregnant but we are still living in separate homes... it sucks so bad. but anyways we were trying to save but now we have absolutely no money bcuz my fiances dad made him give him the money he had to go towards the truck that they've been building for the past few years. I'm really upset bcuz I want to live with my man before the baby is here and especially WHEN the baby is here, but now I don't feel like it's going to happen. BCUZ NOWWW, his dad is also going to take $200 from every check my fiance gets to put towards the truck so they can get it done... my fiance makes about $300-$400 a week, so with his dad taking the $200 that's only $100 or $200 for us to save a week. BUT he also has his phone bill which is $90. so we won't be able to save much. I'm so worried! and so mad at his dad cuz he cares more about that stupid ass truck getting done than me and my fiance living together with out child. :'( I really just don't know what to do anymore.

Maybe suggest to your fiance that he needs to talk with his dad and let him know his priorities have changed and needs to prepare for his child.

@mommalyssi, he's tried that but his dad is so stubborn and doesn't care. he screams and yells and makes sure he gets his way. I mean my fiance needs this truck, but gosh! it can wait!

how is his dad just taking the money? I would have him tell his dad the payments need to wait till you guys are in a better position and I would also have him look for a better job if it's possible. Hopefully things get better for you girl I wish you the best.

@nyckolle00, thanks girl! yeah he's not "taking" the money but my fiance HAS TO give it to him. but yeah he needs to try and find a better job its really hard tho. and yeah he's told his dad he wanted to wait til we got settled in our own place to start up on payments again. but his dad said no

My boyfriends mom could care less if we have a baby coming on the way. She always asks for money so he can pay her rent and bills and phone bills and just a little extra so she can eat. Like she has a job and she gets food stamps for herself but what she spends it on is her problem for not getting her bills paid. Ugh. I do not let that bs slide. I get mad even if he gives her $25. He makes the same amount your fiancé does and we're trying to save up to have our own apartment. But she crys like literally, and she's 56, she cries for his money 'cause she knows he can't stand it when she cries so he'll give it up. I texted her myself telling her to quit but she goes and texts my boyfriend saying I'm a b**** and that this baby isn't his omg. I'm sorry girl I just know how you feel
