I did both with my first, and have done a gender reveal party with this baby, idk about a baby shower though, only because I'm lazy. but definitely do it! they're both lots of fun.
Not at all! I had a gender reveal & am having 3 showers. Gender reveal was something we paid for though as opposed to others hosting it for us. But we made it more of a family get together & then we put blue inside cookies for dessert :) pretty simple. We didn't ask for gifts but people still brought little things (diapers, books, blanket, etc) 😊

I did a gender reveal and told everyone that if they brought a thing of diapers or wipes they would be put in a drawing for a gift and that was the best thing I ever did! For my shower I didn't have to ask for diapers or wipes because I was already set!

Nope! Sounds good to me. I would've done a gender reveal but we didn't announce I was pregnant until we found out the gender

If I had the money and resources I would have done both too!!! Unfortunately I didn't get to have either one. 😔 Maybe next time.
