& yes many women have had sex before the six weeks and been fine, but there's also many women who've had sex before the six weeks and WEREN'T fine. And you may have even had sex before the six weeks with your other children and been perfectly fine, but that doesn't mean that'll be the case this time around. It's just crucial to wait six weeks.

Yeah, don't. It's not about the outside damage its about the inside damage. You have a giant hole in your uterus from where the placenta detached. That hole is NOT healed. Having sex before that hole is healed means taking the risk of getting a major infection which could not only be painful and cause major health issues, but it could also cause you to not be able to have anymore children. It also doesn't matter how clean you think you and your man are, you are still at risk for major infections. You aren't supposed to have sex for six weeks after childbirth or until you've been cleared by your OB GYN. They make these rules for a reason.
