Ugh that's the worst. My step daughter has had several episodes of lice this year and they became resistant to the normal treatment. Have you tried the straight white vinegar and then Listerine treatment? That one seemed to work the best for us. They do have prescription strength shampoo and also ask them if they can provide you with or prescribe a "lice light." It does wonders and makes the coming 100 times easier! Good luck!

@kmlac7, yeah literally every week she comes back from her moms and she has it. it's annoying. and no but we will thank you! I'm gonna try that first then talk to her doctor and her mom is so incompetent. I don't even want her there anymore she comes back dirty and always acting disrespectful

Sounds a whole lot like our situation, lol. Fortunately we have physical custody and it's rare that she goes to her mother's anymore but every time she comes back it's like we have to teach her respect, hygene, everything all over again.

@kmlac7, we're trying to get where she only goes to her mom on weekends or something and same here it's annoying. she's 4 and she can bathe herself and brush her teeth but she says how at mommy's she doesn't brush her teeth or have a bed time or anything. we get her into one routine and she comes back different

Yes! Except ours is 12, lol, and it isnt any better. Her mother will literally tell her NOT to do things that we have her do. Hopefully you guys can get it worked out to where she doesn't go that often. Sounds like a much better environment there with you. And hopefully you aren't still dealing with it at age 12, lol.

@kmlac7, I'm getting so fed up Lol like i want to punch her mother in the throat. and yeah I'll snap pictures on how she comes back to us and show you them it's sad. and I won't especially if she's going to be mouthy like she is now. we're already popping her mouth but not really hard when she talks back. right now I'm fighting with her to eat so I turned her tv off and now shes sitting there pouting. I told her either eat or go to bed and don't come out if you're hungry. should have ate. she's so used to eating junk it's sad
