For the first 9 months of babies life we will have to share room with baby. We will have crib set up, but until we transition him to it...is it better to have baby sleep in the Rock&Play; sleeper instead of bassinet? (Not much room for all)

I have a little boy that's in my class at work that sleeps in one and we provided one in class. He is 5 months old and can't sleep out of it I guess because they feel more swaddled in it. So my personal experience would be no. I had mine in a bassinet and cradle so they have the freedom to move and the transition to crib went smoothly. It's just one child who I've seen use this and have the complication so you may never run into such problems. Good luck momma

I used a 3 in 1 playpen with my daughter. This time I'm gunna do a bassinet with my son because its cheaper, smaller, movable, and just all around easier.

thats just me though. I think it depends on you and your babys preferences.
