I bled about 8 days. Then my first period after having him, about a month later- I had to wear huge overnight pads 24/7 and didn't even want to leave the house, it was so bad. But I have the IUD and haven't had it. Good luck! It's the worst right after having a baby. Birth control has definitely helped with mine.

everyone is different but for me I bled 4 weeks on and off and fairly light...I expected it to be soo heavy but my Dr "cleaned" me out.
