I need help. I live in the San Bernardino Counrt area and when I found out I was pregnant I had no insurance and I was working a seasonal job in Utah. My husband and I quit our jobs so I could have medical insurance in california and be closer to my family. We have been here for nearly 4 months and both of us cant find jobs to support ourselves and our daughter. I am only 22 weeks but I know time is moving so fast and we need to find a way to be stable soon.. we barely have what we need for her but we were planning to use tax return money to get everything. We have been living with my family but their situation is already tight and I cant stand it here anymore. Does anyone know of any programs or anything that can help us get a house or apartment or anything? we have tried temp. agencies and we continue to do applications all the time as well as drop our resumes.

Have you tried any section 8 housing? There's quite a bit of it here. Try going by the county office or the social security office?

I'll look into Sysco. Cashaid requires that I open a child support case against him and I cant do that.. he worked for ups on a driver helper job but it was only a few weeks.

sysco I believe it's spelt they are always hiring drivers same with ups and FedEx as far as programs the wait list for hud is now about 10 years. you can try cash aid but you can only be on it for a certain amount of years then never again.
