it's absolutely amazing how immature and clueless people are... until you research something you have NO right to tell people something will harm your child. That's like all the people who claim all guns kill people... well if you actually understood how to SAFELY and PROPERLY use one, then you might understand that it's not the guns. it's the people using them.

There are some things that have been proven harmful though; CIO, circumcision, feeding solids too early, etc.

yes I understand that completely! @mirandag granted circumcision is still one of those things that been proven harmful and also safe... but again, all things that should be individually researched and advised on by a Dr... what I was talking about was a baby product that this girl had NEVER seen before and said it would choke a baby, when in all reality it had been proven safe if used correctly. but she kept saying it would choke a baby.. even though she had done no research..

Oh, I see baby products that make me cringe sometimes like the things that prop bottles up for really young babies. I wish they had to do more safety testing before being able to make half the products that are on the market.
