Okay this has really been bugging me for a while. I keep seeing posts on Facebook about how women claim girls who have c sections are taking the "easy" way out & how women who have a natural birth are stronger. How in the hell is a c section easier??? & it's not like every woman who has a c section chose to do it that way. Some plan a natural birth their whole pregnancy only to find out they have to have an emergency c section. As far as I see it, both are hard & they both have an amazing outcome.

I had a c section after having hard contractions back to back for 23 hours before the doctor decided my baby girl had been in the birth canal for too long. My cervix wouldn't dilate past 5 & my pelvis was too small, & I don't think I took the easy way out at all.. That was my only choice, I sure tried to have her vaginally! You can plan and plan for your labor & delivery your entire pregnancy but you really don't know what's gonna happen until you get there...c section/vaginal.. Doesn't matter you're still bringing a life into this world & that should be the important part!
I personally have only had vaginal births but I would have to say a c section sounds a hell of a lot more work & hard. You have weight restrictions & everything after that, that's gotta be hard especially with other kids! I was pressured into c sections but refused, hope I never have to get one!! But the end results is every momma having a beautiful blessing in there arms. I agree with @bc8509 about everything & everybody being judged, seems like everybody is screwed either way & it totally drags!! :/
i was going to do natural birth but my baby's heart rate dropped
30 hrs induced labor with my first (because of my BP)... wouldn't dilate past 4cm... he started having decels... emergency c-section... I was devastated! 2nd... small town and was young... didn't know better.... they strongly recommended repeat... so that's what I had... now 3 1/2 wks from having my 5th... still wish I could have had natural births and struggle with it at times... BUT the end result is the same! My babies came into this world & I love them more than anything! Definitely wasn't easy and was very painful... Each person has their own experiences! So much judgement in this world now a days! :/ GAH!

Every time I have seen one of those posts it goes back to a Facebook page made to piss people off by just being mean... there are pages that day tattooed mom's don't know how to raise babies... and pretty much all sorts of ridiculous crap just trying to get a rise out of people! most people understand that csection, vaginal, adoption, surrogacy, are all forms of birth and motherhood (: it's just the jackasses that think their shit don't stink that think otherwise (: don't let it bother you too much mama!
Both are difficult I'm sure. my only thing is, I hate when doctors push c sections on women, because it's convenient for them. or when women schedule c sections months ahead of time. like, try natural first. our bodies were made for this. if someone has a medical emergency, then sure, I get it. but there is seriously an agenda in this country for c sections.
Thank you guys for your alls comments. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought this way. :) and my daughters birth was similar to a lot of your alls. I was induced at almost 42 weeks (talk about a living hell lol) after 26 hours of hard labor & only dilating to 1cm my doctor said my blood pressure was getting way too high & he thought my pelvis was too small for her head, he said it was time for a c section or she wouldn't have a chance. I hated it because I wanted so badly to have her natural. But after laying there on that cold table with my husband holding my hand, I finally heard her cry. & suddenly it didn't matter :) she was finally here & I didn't care about natural or c section. I was just happy I finally got to see her & hear her.
