So I just wanted to share with everyone my bellybutton ring experience. I'm not saying this will happen to everyone since I've seen women successfully have a belly ring their whole pregnancy but if you have any signs of rejection or infection PLEASE take it out!! The first picture was the day I got my belly ring, I absolutely loved it and it made me want to cry taking it out. I got a pregnancy bellyring and ever since I got it I just had so many issues with it. There wasn't enough wetness in there so it was a rubbery feeling pulling through skin which isn't a good feeling. It slowly started to show signs of irritation but I refused to admit that there was something wrong with it. Finally after a huge fight with my mom over how it can effect the baby I decided to take it out. In the last picture is 3 months later and it looks HORRIBLE!! Please never let it get that bad, it really sucks. I'm pretty sure it will never be back to my normal belly button 😔 just trying to look out for you guys 😊 (and I know, my bellybutton really popped😂 like 3x the size😂)

I've had the same problem. I bought a pregnancy one at 15 weeks and about 22 had to take it out because it was rejecting and now I have a scar above my belly button. luckily my belly button hasn't popped out at all yet but I figured I can always get it redone that it's not worth the risk of ripping or hurting my son.

yes it happened to me that's why its best to take it out once you start showing i got the.same scar

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one @jaycereillysmommy @lovelycin09!! And @rachh40 defiantly take it out!! I mean you can try to see if it won't reject but my dr. Said that pretty much it's about 1 in every 5 girls that can keep their belly rings! It's up to you!(:

Besides my belly button looking like a butthole lmao my belly ring did the same. It didn't reject it, I just waited too long to take it out or change to a pregnancy once & a stretch mark went through it
