Nooooo don't risk tuna. Every doctor says to avoid it. It's the one fish that you are most likely to get mercury poisoning from. You want to give your baby the best chance possible!! Stick with chicken salad instead
Tuna is fine once in a while. The same people who don't eat tuna while pregnant are the ones microwaving their lunch meat. (There hasn't been a case of Listeria from lunchmeat in over 15 years. You're more likely to get it from cantaloupe which has a Listeria outbreak every couple of years.) My doctor says 6oz of tuna once a week will never expose you to enough mercury to be detected.
