Wow that's freaking outrageous!!!

that's for a vaginal delivery, without any complications. I had to have an emergency c section & was in the hospital for 6 days.. my bill was right at $140,000.

its crazy what they charge for a life event. I know they have things that need to be paid but that amount.. wow

@wilson123 ikr, I'm so glad I was able to get Medicaid. there's no way I'd be able to pay that lol

When I was flown out to the hospital I delivered at prematurely the flight alone was $52,000 and I have no idea how much my week stay before my c section was, how much my recovery was, or my baby's 7 week nicu stay was.

I had a vaginal delivery with no meds and my bill was 1,026$... without insurance. @wilson123

I had vag delivery with first 2, both totaled around $3,000-$4,000. C-section with the last only went around $11,000. Insurance for all, but they still send the total bill for you to see.

What!! We pay to have our kids? Hmmm something ain't right here
