when is a baby considered full term?

My Ob said they are considered full term at 38 weeks

so a baby being born between 32-34 wks is unhealthy?

37weeks.

their lungs and brain aren't fully developed until 38 weeks I believe

@rainelove, yes a baby born between 32-34 weeks is "unhealthy"

they may not have problems, you never know, but premies are more susceptible to health complications, infections, and long stays in the NICU.

I had a 26 wk preemie I'm just scared

anything before 37 is a premature. anything after that is considered safe. 39 is full term.
