I got mine on December 3rd & I bled until 3 days ago. So a little over a month. My sister got hers 2 weeks before I did and she is still bleeding. I think it depends on the person. my doctor told me that my periods would be funky for a while

For me it was similar to a period and for a couple months I had spotting but no cramps, I had it for 3 years. I had to have mine removed because it was sliding out of place.. I'd check it periodically and could feel the string getting longer each time. It didn't cause any issues when that happened I just knew my body well enough to think that something wasn't right. It's still something I would consider doing again

I had it for 4 years before I had my daughter. I bled a little for like 3 or 4 days and never had a period after that
