Is it normal that my heart is completely broken but I feel literally nothing right now?

I had that moment due to a really bad situation at that time. What's wrong?

My baby's dad has decided he doesn't want to be with me and we seen our baby for the first time last Wednesday and he was all about me. @sweetpea_nut

@carlyann21, when I told my baby's dad that I was pregnant, he flipped. Begged me to abort. Did not want to be with me either. Did not come to appointments and was upset when I sent him my first ultrasound. Needless to say I never felt so heartbroken in my life. Cried every day. Didn't get out of bed and had no urge to eat which was bad for being so early in my pregnancy. But I stood my ground and we went our separate ways for a couple weeks until he contacted me. He wanted to be involved then. We're not together but for the past 2 months I was all he wanted to see/talk and we even talked about the baby which was nice. However, we haven't been talking/seeing each other the past month due to his uninterest in communication all of sudden plus he's a marine and getting ready to leave. What I've learned is that you are the only person you can count on. I have more important things to worry about than his indecisiveness. As much as I would like for him to be 100% involved and be with me, I can't let him spoil my chance at being happy and taking care of me and my kid. Because I know my emotions can affect my baby too. It's hard. It took me a long time to put myself together but being strong is something you learn. In the end, it's his loss on not only you but the baby as well. Men handle things differ than we do. So if he wants to be left alone then fine. He'll realize some things. Just focus on you and your LO because you're all he/she needs right now.
