all doctors are supposed to check you every week when you start your one week visits. I guess some choose not to

my doctor will start checking at 36 weeks, but some are different. I have heard some don't check at all and some wait until 38 weeks. I think it depends on your pregnancy and how you're measuring.

@drmurphy13, I think I've had a few braxton hicks but nothing painful just uncomfortable for a few. it goes away if I move around or lay down or drink water

I got checked at 33wks depends if you start having Braxton Hicks or not

Just had 35w and she checked for first time.

they usually start at 35 weeks. before if something is going wrong

Depends on the hospital really but usually getting closer to the end of your pregnancy. I'll be 36 weeks when i get checked and I'm 34 weeks now

not really only when you ask and say you are having pain mostly I never got checked but twice when I first got pego to see if I could have a natural birth, and when I had to to to the er for some pain I had

@deavers, is there a certain week though that they start checking anyway? I'm 30 weeks and have an appointment Monday. I have started going every 2 weeks

if you start feel pains they check you out and see or when your water breaks
