Anyone else having issues at work? I'm 22 weeks pregnant and have recently gotten a new boss. He seems to highlight every tiny mistake I make but, someone else can make twice as bad or mess up a banking deposit yet they don't get half as much of a grilling as me. Even other managers are noticing the difference but won't open there mouths to him. I've been warned with disciplinary and dismissal over trivial things. It's starting to stress me out, I've worked in retail management for 6 years I know what I'm doing!

Yes I had trouble at work. In my first trimester, things were fine. I was hospitalised at 10 weeks and they were cool with me being off almost a week. I was hospitalised again at 20 weeks and was only off 2 days but suddenly it was an issue. My manager made a huge deal out of it. And insinuated I was lying even thou I had my discharge notes etc as proof. By the time I'd hit the third trimester I was so stressed. I felt like everything I did was being judged and if I did make any small mistakes, they seemed to blow them out of proportion. I made the decision to go on maternity leave at 33 weeks instead of the usual 35-36weeks and it was the best thing I did. My midwife agreed. She said for my own mental health I was better off at home x

I'm the same, my first trimester I was sick constantly and ended up in hospital with dehydration and exhaustion. My previous boss was all "take what time you need." This one however, just seems to hate me! It's really stressing me out, always belittling me and even making me look the fool in front of trainee staff. I'm due the 21st of May but I'm taking maternity on the 28th of March. I used to be someone who loved to work and was always the over achiever, now I dread going in and just wait on being started on from the minute I clock in🙈 x

As bad as it may sound and it is not always the case, but many men do not understand what a pregnant lady goes through. you take the time you need and do what makes you feel best for your baby. any decent boss should understand this. it would be the complete opposite if it was his missus that was pregnant. keep your chin up xx

@leahfitz, his boss doesn't have any issues with me or the way I work, his boss even commended me for working whilst hobbling about with a really sore hip. Yet, my boss would comment on how slow I was that day. There isn't a break even with him. Can't wait to go on leave now, hopefully he changes once I'm back from leave xx

I know. I've had a guy at my work doing the exact same. making me feel worthless for being pregnant. it is such a horrible feeling. especially when pregnancy is meant to be a happy time xx
