My parents just told me not to stretch with my arms up or put my pull over on that the cord will get…

my mom had always told me the same thing, in my 1st pregnancy my son had the cord wrapped around twice but I don't believe it's from the arm thing

it's an old wives tale. not medically proven in any way. my mom told me the same thing and my doctor told me that's not true.

I worked in retail and the customer would tell me the same thing. no don't reach I'll get it myself lol. I was like really ppl:0)

they have never told me that... I'm 5,2 so I have to stretch out my arms to reach almost anything. I don't think that's true .... they recommend pregnant women to stretch out to get ready for labor

OK so I had a friend at my job tell me that when I was pregnant with my daughter. And it could just be a crazy coincidence but my daughter had the cord around her neck several times. Everything turned out just fine in the end. I kept telling my ob for a good week before I had her she wasnt moving around very much like normal. They just said that's normal luckily I had her soon after. I would ask you ob about the reality of this old wives tale.

it's old wise tale just like don't look at anything ugly or scary and the jump and touch your self because any where you touch will supposedly leave and horrid birth mark on the baby on that spot. my ex family was superstitious as all get out
