at the beginning of my pregnancy my boyfriend never missed an appointment he'd take off work for just a routine check up now he never takes off. he swore he'd never miss an appointment and I get that he needs to work to support us and save up for our daughter but he missed my last ultra sound and I've gone to labor and delivery a few times and he didn't even know cause he was so busy at work. every time i do have an appointment he never asks how it went or he just never remembers.. he said he doesn't think he can take off for our baby shower. in the beginning he was so hands on and now I feel like I'm stressing through this without him..

@kristandley, baby all I can say is he's doing it for a reason. you and your baby. I didn't understand that when I was pregnant and emotional and he moved another state away so he could find a job. I let my loneliness get the best of me and I left him for someone else. almost ruined my whole life

I feel the same. My appts are always routine and everything is mostly fine so now he feels no need to go. There have been times he missed appts and it hurts but it will be okay

Yea, it really sucks, but in the end once you realize that he's doing it to Provide for his daughter and you.

If it makes you feel any better, my fiance has only been to one appointment. He just so happen to get the day off and went. He's going to be late to the baby shower and he's not even going to pay attention to me, but his friends.
Just know he's doing it for a reason and you aren't alone.
