@sha704, it was fun to get our oldest involved because when it took place only my husband and I knew, so it was a big surprise to our son. He wanted a sister but I told him maybe next time. :)

By the way I had my son at fort hood and Darnell hospital scared the living day lights out of me for this pregnancy and labor...

You did i know they are moving to the new Hospital in April. What happened?

Labor for 3 days before they finally broke my water but my son was in too much stress that I needed an emergency c section because they lost his heartbeat. They had to knock me out because they couldn't get my spinal to work so I was feeling everything. Afterwards, they gave me blood pressure meds to lower mine which could have killed my son if he got any through breast milk. Luckily my dad is a district manager for a pharmaceutical company. Then they didn't suction him out enough that he had amniotic fluid in his lungs for a week that caused him to turn blue. Then he got a eye infection from the antibiotic eye cream, for 3 months they told me it was a blocked tear duct until I moved to Nebraska and the doctor there told me it was an eye infection!

I had to give birth at Fort Stewart, My daughter pooped inside of me, the epidural when out on me twice so they had to put me to sleep. Her heart rate was low and my blood pressure was high so I had a emergency c-section. I only remember bits and pieces of her birth. Then I needed a blood transfusion. Due to my own body not dilating properly and the fact that my hips didn't spread enough to push her head out. My next one I have may have a c-section because of my hips. the dumb Hospital waited until I was 41 weeks and even then they didn't want to help. @sparnell
