I think its a big deal for the dad to be there, too. Like, my husband made it to as many as he could, but its hard for him because his job is 2 hours away and he is a boss so he has to be there. But he did make it to the important ones, like the gender ultrasound and the anatomy scan.

Yes very important, like why wouldn't the father want to see the baby if he had the chance to?

@ez, he has something for work that day that would be inconvenient for him to reschedule but is POSSIBLE to reschedule... It's our first ultrasound since 19 weeks & its 3D/4d & we'll get measurements & weight and all of that.. We've known this since December 16th. I'm also doing my glucose screening that day so he doesn't think it's necessary to be there for everything (I don't blame him for that by any means), but he doesn't want to inconvenience his uncle & dad (his bosses) to reschedule it just for him... He hasn't tried explaining that we'll be getting a big ultrasound... Just said that I'm getting my glucose test done. His dad would want him to be there for ME first and foremost, but I don't want to go behind his back & contact his dad just to get him to go.

I feel it's important for bonding time to the idea of and baby itself. and a good chance for mommy and daddy to bond over baby.

I think it's a huge deal for him to be there. He didn't get to go to our first one because he had to work But he's calling in for our 20 week one on tuesday. I just asked him if he felt it was important and he said yes.
