39 weeks today, 1cm dilated and 50% effaced any suggestions on what i can do to speed things up?? Im scared to get induced and my doctor said if there aren't any changes she will induce me next weekend 😩 help!! Ive been at 1cm for 2 weeks now

There is nothing I swear, I'm due tomorrow and have been 1cm for 3 weeks, I've tried everything... Babies come when they are ready

@mjj3, I agree with you I'm just so scared to get induced friends that have gotten induced had a horrible experience during labor i just want him to come naturally without induction but we have another week we'll se what happens!!

I know, I'm the same way. If my little guy doesn't come by Monday my doc is setting a date, I'm freaking out... I've tried everything safe for the both of us and I haven't had contractions in a week... I've decided he's going to live in there forever.

I started walking a lot more with my first towards the end and it helped a lot with dialation but unfortunately my doctor induced me at 39 weeks and after 27 hours of labor and 3 hours of pushing he came out at 10lbs 4 oz. I hope to go into labor naturally this time around and I hope you do also! Goodluck mama 😊

Don't worry. I got induced twice and it wasn't bad at all
