you can go to your gynecologist and it will be cheaper they do the same thing a fertility doctor cost more

You might need to see an IVF specialist. They'll test you and him to see if there's any problems and God forbid there is they will help you with different treatment options

Only problem with going to your OB/GYN is they can't test him for his sperm count and they can't prescribe fertility drugs.

thank y'all , and I didn't know that I just scheduled an appt with gynecologist since I never had that done before , and I know nothing is wrong with him if im not pregnant right now I know what he needs @jessica0830 something to boost his sperm count because when he was younger he damaged one of his testicles in football , he has a kid already but his sperm count probably low

@kimmieg9385, they can also help him with that. The OB/GYN can do is tell you if you're ovulating and give you a pap to make sure everything is normal there too. They have you come in 2 weeks after you period and give you an ultrasound to check your ovaries out and see if one is releasing a matured egg if not they send you to a specialist. An IVF clinic is like a one stop shop for everything.

thanks @jessica0830 so much ima keep that in mind I never even heard of that one and I never had a papsmear before yet does it hurt ? some idiots told me , doctors that I couldn't get one until 21 but I thought its as soon as u start having sex

It's basically a fertility doctor. Most insurance companies cover a visit but you may want to check with yours

They're really uncomfortable but they don't hurt. They're over pretty quickly too!
